Some people think shadow work is about pointing out our "failings". But the truth is, shadow work is more about forgiving, accepting and embracing the parts of ourselves that we were taught weren't OK.
Surprisingly, the more we accept ourselves, the more capacity we have to step out of old patterns, not from a place of self-punishment, but from a sincere place of not making anything wrong.
Shadow work is about more than just our "dark qualities". It's also about discovering our strengths, our power and our beauty - Our gifts that we were conditioned to repress and deny. Through shadow work, we discover the permission within ourselves to step into our fullness.
